John Haywood is a photographer, author, and creator of Waterfalls of Upstate New York and Waterfalls of New York. His writings and photography have appeared in a number of magazines, websites, and books such as Adirondac, Peeks, Hudson Valley Magazine, Visit Adirondacks, Outdoor Project, and the Keene Valley Region Waterfall Guide.
In addition to the Finger Lakes Region Waterfall Challenge, John has also written the Adirondack Fifty Fall Challenge, Hudson Valley Waterfall Challenge, Family-Friendly Waterfall Hikes in the Adirondacks, and the New York State Waterfall Guide.
